KIDS'CLICK is the project of the Ramapo Catskill Library System, New
York and is maintained by the Colorado State Library. KIDSCLICK! is not
an Internet filter. It's intent is to guide users to good sites, not block
them from "bad" sites.
The Association for Library Service to Children has developed this
site as part of its ongoing commitment to providing children with positive
learning experiences. The list of "Cool" links to websites are separated
by subjects into Reading & Writing, Nature, Science, Planets, Museums,
Sports, Games and much more.

YAHOOLIGANS is a web site filled with good stuff for kids ages 7-12.
For example, if you have an interest in space and want to research the
newest information available on MARS exploration, you will be surprised
at what you'll find at YAHOOLIGANS on that subject. Teachers will find great
resources on a wide variety of subjects, including classroom activities
ready for use.
This is really an outstanding site. The sample question box below
(provided through the courtesy of AskJeevesKids) is an example of how the
question/answer site works. Try it. (For instance, you can ask, "Why is
the sky blue?" Jeeves will direct you to a location on the web that will
answer that question. Here's a quote from Dave Peyton of the Chicago Tribute
that says a lot . . ."Ask Jeeves for Kids...is one of the best places on the
Net for kids from ages 7 to 14 to find answers to their questions."

The INTERNET PUBLIC LIBRARY YOUTH DIVISION has developed this site
for kids in the 4-11 age group, their parents, teachers and anyone interested
in material available for kids. You will be linked to many good websites
picked by librarians.
